Etere Memory Automatic Video Logging Application Supports NewTek NDI®
Etere has announced that its video logging software, Etere Memory includes support for IP input with NewTek NDI®. Users can now leverage the benefits of NDI, in addition to other supported IP technologies and standards. With the upgrade, users are able to receive resolution-independent NDI streams as well as Real-time Transport Protocol (RTP), Real-Time Messaging Protocol (RTMP) and User Datagram Protocol (UDP) streams.
Etere Memory is an automatic video logging software solution that also serves as a media logger that is capable of recording and storing all transmitted content in a low resolution format. It enables operators to record and view clips at the same time with only a few seconds delay. Users also have the option to perform HTTP, UDP, RTSP and RTMP streaming to flash media or the Wowza Media Systems.
NDI is royalty free for any company looking to establish IP workflows within their organization, or in commercial products and applications they deliver. Boosting a seamless integration, NDI enables multiple video systems to identify and communicate with one another over IP as well as to encode, transmit and receive multiple streams of high quality, low latency and frame-accurate video and audio in real-time. Etere has supported NDI since 2014, when its software-based channel-in-a-box, Etere ETX integrated support for NDI.
